About Bath Avenue Counselling Centre

Welcome! We are a professional group of experienced and dedicated psychotherapists committed to offering accessible and high-quality counselling. 

Our practice is located at the heart of Dublin 4 on Bath Avenue, Sandymount. Office hours are Monday to Friday 9:30am - 1:30pm; appointments are available Monday to Sunday. 

We provide individual psychotherapy and counselling, group therapy, couple therapy, family therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Click to view this short video:

Bath Avenue Counselling Centre prides itself on creating a welcoming atmosphere for all of our clients. It is part of the experience at Bath Avenue that your feel comfortable, welcome and supported from the moment you call us. We ensure that this atmosphere is continued throughout your time with us.

A key part of this is matching you with the right therapist that will support you through the counselling process.

Values
We meet with all of our therapists and have a number of conversations before deciding on welcoming them onto our team. Directors Eamonn Boland and Valerie Kilkenny have gone to great lengths to choose Counsellors and Psychotherapists that best reflect our values of understanding, discretion and compassion.

Training and Qualifications
No matter what stage of their careers our therapists are at, we insist that they embody these values and represent Bath Avenue Counselling Centre in a way that reflects us best. Before joining the team at Bath Avenue, we meet and talk with each therapist a number of time.

This is not just to ensure that they are suitably qualified and trained. Furthermore, it is to make sure that they reflect the values of our Centre, and that they will support our clients in the manner that we demand of them.
